I was thinkg the same, untill i tried to polish outside. It seems that the seller kept the adlight without any bulb, and I also found some bugs inside of the headlight.

I think you will find the headlight unit is moulded and cannot be split. It is one piece in the catalogues.

Items 1 and 8 are Left and Right unit.

Looks interesting, as long as you can get in the hole to clean.
Missed that thread as it was pre-Jazz for me. Only became a Jazz owner in late July 2016.

Hazing of the plastic is a common problem for aging vehicles with plastic headlights and probably made worse if the vehicle has spent a lot of its life parked facing southwards. It's now time to try your luck with a headlight restoration kit (eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Headlight-Lens-Restoration-Kit-Car-Motorbike-With-DRILL-ADAPTER-JL/392306217787 ) which, I believe, grinds away the outer layer of plastic which has gone hazy. I've never tried using one of these kits so I can't warrant for its effectiveness.

If that doesn't work then you can hunt around the scrap yards for a pair of good condition Mk 1 headlights (not this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Jazz-Mk1-Drivers-side-headlight-O-S-F/193008269065 which looks worse than yours).
